ABOUT
Gianna Elyse is an indie artist based in the United States. Shaped by a musical family and a love for God, her songwriting style is an eclectic fusion of R&B, classical, folk, worship, and punk. Her lyrics are often poetic and elusive. She spent her formative years moving from urban areas of NJ to rural parts of Florida. She is passionate about inner-city and global missions, having traveled to four countries overseas and contributed to various initiatives based in Florida, including human trafficking abolition campaigns. She embraces personal growth in the areas of generosity and compassion for those around her, and desires to “[make] the most of every opportunity” to share the gospel of Jesus Christ (Ephesians 5:16, NIV).
She began her musical career by training classically on the flute from the age of ten and throughout her college career, eventually learning piano, voice, and guitar as well. She received her Associate’s degree from Seminole State College of Florida and a B.A. in Music from Southeastern University. She gives glory to God for all the ways he has blessed her and orchestrated each situation for her musical and spiritual growth.
Currently residing in Central Virginia, Gianna Elyse is a singer-songwriter, instrumentalist, and amateur composer. She was the Talent Coordinator for a monthly talent show through a local ministry. Follow her artistic and spiritual journey as she seeks to be a better student of life and daughter of God (Romans 8:19-21, NIV).
